Selling a tract of land that has been in the family for years is a difficult decision, and our choice of the individual to entrust for this task was a major consideration. Eric Leisy of Great Southern Land, was the obvious choice. He understood our attachments to the property and the value of the work we invested in the property in managing it for timber and wildlife. Eric delivered up several potential buyers who had similar values in wishing to continue the family-centered stewardship practices underway. We were able to sell the property at a price we knew was fair to both parties. In the end, the property was sold to a family we consider as friends and who will continue to use the property as the great gift it is.
